Partial day rehab centers treat substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders which can be co-occurring. Inside a partial day rehab center the individual participates in various treatment activities throughout the day and then returns home later in the day, any where from 5 to 7 days every week. Partial day rehab centers are a great alternative for drug or alcohol addicted individuals who may be unable to pay for inpatient or residential drug treatment, or who might not exactly be able to be away from their families while in inpatient or residential rehabilitation. Whilst in a partial day rehab center, individuals experience group, individual and even family therapy and counseling for drug abuse issues whilst handling whatever mental health issue is ailing them. It is important to address both issues simultaneously if there is any any expectation for individuals maintaining any kind long-term sobriety and be able to regain a quality lifestyle. This will take several weeks or months simply because that it is a part-time rehabilitation option, but it's going to be worth it to the rehabilitation client and their families in the long run when they can proceed with a whole new beginning.
