Baton Rouge - Criminal Justice Clients

Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any kind of alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility because of a drug or alcohol related criminal offense. This can occur for instance if someone else is convicted of a DUI or DWI, or any other kind of drug related crime that has led a legal court to think the individual has any kind of drug abuse issue. Not every person has the option of getting involved in an alcohol and drug rehab program as a criminal justice client, but when this option is ordered from the court it is strongly advised that the individual do everything they can to make the most of this opportunity. Oftentimes, other penalties and consequences could be completely eradicated or lessened in the event the individual does well in rehabilitation and completes the drug rehab program that is ordered for them. New offenders will be the most probable criminal justice clients because it has been verified that criminal justice clients who take part in rehab in place of other consequences have much lower recidivism rates than people who find themselves ordered to incarceration or similar consequences. Ultimately, it saves the court system both money and time when criminal justice clients obtain effective treatment.
