Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any sort of drug and alcohol treatment program on account of a drug or alcohol related criminal offense. This can occur for example when someone is found guilty of driving under the influence or DWI, and for any other type of drug related crime which has led a legal court to believe that the individual has any sort of drug or alcohol use issue. Not every person has the option of taking part in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center as a criminal justice client, but if this option is ordered from the court it is well advised that the individual try everything they are able to to make the most of this chance. In many cases, other penalties and consequences may be completely eliminated or lessened if the individual does well in rehab and finishes the drug and alcohol rehab facility that has been ordered for them.
