DUI/DWI clients that are taking part in drug and alcohol treatment centers are either there by their own choice, but most of the time in alcohol and drug rehab as part of a mandated court order. DUI/DWI clients, particularly first-time offenders could possibly be ordered to treatment either instead of other consequences or as a part of a sentence.
