Partial day rehab centers treat drug or alcohol use disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a partial day rehab center the person participates in various rehab activities in the daytime and then returns home later in the day, between five to seven days every week. Partial day rehab centers are a perfect selection for alcohol or drug addicted individuals who may not be able to pay for inpatient or residential drug rehabilitation, or who might not be able to be away from their own families while in inpatient or residential rehabilitation. Whilst in a partial day rehab center, individuals take part in group, one-on-one and even family counseling and therapy for substance abuse issues whilst addressing whatever mental health issue is plaguing them. It is important to handle both issues concurrently if there is any any expectation for individuals maintaining any sort of long-term sobriety and be able to regain a healthy lifestyle. This can take several weeks simply because that it is a part-time rehab option, but it will be worthwhile to the treatment client as well as their families eventually whenever they can move forward with a brand new start.
