Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any type of drug and alcohol treatment program because of a drug or alcohol related crime. This can occur for instance if someone else is convicted of driving under the influence or DWI, or for any other kind of drug related offense that has led the judge to believe that the individual has any type of drug or alcohol use issue. Not everyone has the option of taking part in an alcohol and drug treatment center as a criminal justice client, but if this approach is ordered through the court it is wise that the individual try everything they can to get the most from this opportunity.
