Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any type of drug and alcohol rehab center as a result of alcohol or drug related criminal offense. This will happen for example if someone else is found guilty of driving under the influence or DWI, or for any other type of drug related offense which has led the judge to believe the individual has any sort of drug or alcohol use issue. Not every person has the option of getting involved in a drug and alcohol treatment facility as a criminal justice client, however, if this option is ordered from the court it's strongly advised that the individual try everything they can to benefit from this chance. Most of the time, other penalties and consequences could be completely eradicated or lessened when the individual succeeds in treatment and finishes the drug and alcohol treatment center which has been ordered for them. New offenders will be the most likely criminal justice clients because it has been established that criminal justice clients that experience rehabilitation instead of other consequences have much lower recidivism rates than people who find themselves ordered to prison time or similar consequences. Eventually, it saves the court system both time and money when criminal justice clients obtain powerful rehabilitation.
