Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any sort of drug and alcohol treatment program as a result of a drug or alcohol related crime. This will happen for instance if a person is convicted of driving under the influence or DWI, and for any other type of drug related criminal offense that has led a legal court to think that the individual has any sort of drug abuse issue. Not every person has the option of taking part in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center as a criminal justice client, but if this approach is ordered through the judge it is strongly advised that the individual try everything they're able to to benefit from this opportunity. On many occasions, other penalties and consequences could be totally eliminated or lessened when the individual succeeds in rehabilitation and completes the drug rehabilitation facility that has been ordered for them. New offenders would be the most likely criminal justice clients because it has been proven that criminal justice clients that do experience rehabilitation instead of other penalties have significantly lower recidivism rates than those who find themselves ordered to time in jail or similar consequences. In the long run, it saves a legal court system both money and time when criminal justice clients obtain powerful rehabilitation.
