Outpatient Treatment - Lake Ariel

Outpatient treatment gives treatment clients the chance to sustain certain responsibilities and elements of their lifestyle while getting involved in drug and alcohol treatment services. Outpatient treatment is a moderate amount of treatment, and should not be mistaken for the amount of treatment offered within an inpatient or residential rehabilitation setting that's significantly more intensive. Outpatient treatment could be well suited for a person who has a short history of substance abuse for example, but will certainly not be sufficient for somebody whose rehabilitation needs go beyond what outpatient treatment is able to offer. Individuals involved in substance abuse often need a considerable environmental change, because many of the things that prompt their substance abuse are strictly environmental. For instance, if a person is being physically or emotionally mistreated and this is triggering their substance abuse, there is no way for any rehabilitation efforts to have success should they go back to such conditions each day. In outpatient treatment, clients can benefit from group and individual counseling, as well as family therapy services. In outpatient treatment, most programs offer services five to seven days a week on either a part time or full time schedule for four weeks or longer in some instances.
