It has been verified that people who are treated for drug abuse issues as opposed to other penalties being forced upon them have greater odds of remaining out of the court system than those people who are fined, ordered to incarceration, etc. In drug treatment facilities DUI/DWI clients can determine why they abuse alcohol and drugs, to be able to address these problems in order to find resolution to the actual situations and circumstances inside their lives which trigger their substance abuse.
