DUI/DWI clients who're taking part in drug treatment programs are generally there by their own choice, but generally in drug rehabilitation due to a mandatory order from the court. DUI/DWI clients, particularly initial offenders may be required to go to rehabilitation either in lieu of other consequences or as part of their sentence. This may truly save lives, not only the lives of the DUI/DWI clients, but people who may be impacted by their substance abuse should they drive while intoxicated in the future. This is a real second chance for DUI/DWI clients.
