Criminal justice clients are people who are in any kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program because of a drug or alcohol related offense. This will happen for instance if someone is found guilty of drunk driving or DWI, or any other type of drug related criminal offense which has led the judge to believe the individual has any kind of drug abuse issue. Not everyone has the option of taking part in a drug and alcohol rehab program as a criminal justice client, but when this approach is ordered by the court it's strongly advised that the individual try everything they're able to to make the most of this opportunity.
