DUI/DWI clients who are involved in drug rehabilitation centers are generally there on their own accord, but generally in drug treatment as part of a mandated court ruling. DUI/DWI clients, specifically initial offenders may be required to go to treatment either in lieu of other consequences or as a part of a sentence.
