DUI/DWI clients who're taking part in drug and alcohol rehab centers are generally there by their own choice, but generally in drug and alcohol treatment due to a mandatory court order. DUI/DWI clients, especially first-time offenders may be required to go to rehabilitation either instead of other consequences or as a part of a sentence.
