Criminal justice clients are those who are in any type of alcohol and drug treatment facility due to a drug or alcohol related crime. This will happen for instance when someone is found guilty of a DUI or DWI, or any other kind of drug related crime that has led a legal court to believe that the individual has any kind of substance abuse issue. Not everyone has the option of taking part in an alcohol and drug treatment facility as a criminal justice client, but when this approach is ordered by the court it is well advised that the individual do everything they can to get the most from this chance.
