Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any kind of drug and alcohol rehab facility as a result of alcohol or drug related crime. This will happen for example if someone else is found guilty of drunk driving or DWI, or any other kind of drug related offense which has led a legal court to believe that the individual has any kind of drug or alcohol use issue. Not everyone has the option of getting involved in a drug treatment program as a criminal justice client, but when this option is ordered through the court it is wise that the individual do everything they are able to to benefit from this opportunity. On many occasions, other penalties and consequences may be entirely eradicated or lessened when the individual succeeds in treatment and completes the alcohol and drug rehabilitation center that is ordered for them. New offenders would be the most probable criminal justice clients because it has been established that criminal justice clients that do experience rehabilitation instead of other penalties have significantly lower recidivism rates than those who are ordered to time in jail or receive other penalties. Eventually, it saves the court system both time and expense when criminal justice clients receive powerful rehabilitation.
