Criminal justice clients are those who are in any sort of alcohol and drug treatment center due to alcohol or drug related crime. This will happen for instance if someone is convicted of a DUI or DWI, or for any other type of drug related criminal offense that has led a legal court to believe the individual has any sort of drug abuse issue. Not every person has the option of taking part in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center as a criminal justice client, however, if this option is ordered through the court it's strongly advised that the individual do everything they're able to to make the most of this chance. On many occasions, other penalties and consequences may be totally eradicated or lessened if the individual does well in treatment and completes the drug and alcohol rehab program which was ordered for them.
