While in a partial day rehab center, individuals take part in group, individual and even family counseling and therapy for substance abuse issues while addressing whatever mental health issue is ailing them. It is very important to handle both issues concurrently if there is any hope for individuals maintaining any type of long-term abstinence and be able to regain a healthy lifestyle. This could take several weeks or months mainly because it's a part-time rehab option, but it's going to be worth it to the treatment client as well as their families in the end when they can proceed with a whole new start.
