Partial day rehab centers treat drug abuse disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. Inside a partial day rehab center the individual takes part in various treatment services during the day and then returns home later in the day, anywhere from 5 to 7 days a week. Partial day rehab centers are an excellent choice for alcohol or drug addicted people who may not be able to pay for inpatient or residential alcohol and drug rehab, or who might not be able to be away from their loved ones while in inpatient or residential rehab. While in a partial day rehab center, individuals experience group, one-on-one and in many cases family counseling and therapy for substance abuse issues whilst addressing whatever mental health issue is plaguing them. It is important to address both issues simultaneously if there is any any expectation for individuals maintaining any sort of long-term sobriety or being able to regain a quality lifestyle. This will take several months mainly because that it is a part-time rehabilitation option, but it's going to be worthwhile to the rehabilitation client and their families eventually whenever they can move forward with a new beginning.
