Salem - DUI/DWI Clients

DUI/DWI clients who're involved in drug and alcohol treatment facilities are generally there by their own choice, but most of the time in alcohol and drug rehabilitation as part of a mandated court ruling. DUI/DWI clients, specifically initial offenders could be ordered to rehabilitation either instead of other consequences or as part of their sentence. DUI/DWI clients will benefit greatly from rehab as opposed to being punished because of their crimes, and so can the court system. It has been determined that people who are treated for drug abuse issues as opposed to other penalties being enforced upon them have much better chances of remaining out of the court system than those who are fined, ordered to incarceration, etc. In drug treatment programs DUI/DWI clients can determine why they abuse drugs and alcohol, to enable them to address these problems and find resolution for the actual situations and circumstances in their lives which trigger their substance abuse. This may truly save lives, not only the lives of the DUI/DWI clients, but people that may be impacted by their drug abuse if they drive while intoxicated in the foreseeable future. It's a real second opportunity for DUI/DWI clients.
