DUI/DWI clients who're taking part in drug treatment centers are generally there on their own accord, but usually in drug and alcohol rehab due to a mandatory court order. DUI/DWI clients, particularly first-time offenders could be required to go to rehabilitation either in place of other penalties or as part of their sentence. DUI/DWI clients will benefit greatly from rehabilitation instead of being punished for their crimes, and so can the court system. This could truly save lives, not only the lives of the DUI/DWI clients, but people that may be impacted by their substance abuse whenever they drive while intoxicated in the foreseeable future. This is a real second opportunity for DUI/DWI clients.
