Criminal Justice Clients - Seneca

Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any kind of drug and alcohol treatment center on account of alcohol or drug related criminal offense. This will occur for example if someone else is convicted of driving under the influence or DWI, and for any other type of drug related crime which has led the court to believe that the individual has any kind of drug abuse issue. Not everybody has the option of getting involved in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program as a criminal justice client, but if this option is ordered by the judge it is well advised that the individual do everything they can to take full advantage of this chance. On many occasions, other penalties and consequences could be completely eliminated or lessened when the individual does well in rehab and completes the drug rehab center which was ordered for them. New offenders will be the most likely criminal justice clients because it has been established that criminal justice clients who take part in rehab in place of other consequences have much lower recidivism rates than those who are ordered to incarceration or receive other penalties. Ultimately, it saves the court system both time and money when criminal justice clients receive effective rehabilitation.
