Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any kind of drug and alcohol treatment facility because of alcohol or drug related criminal offense. This will occur for instance if a person is convicted of drunk driving or DWI, or for any other kind of drug related criminal offense that has led the judge to think the individual has any sort of drug or alcohol use issue. Not every person has the option of taking part in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center as a criminal justice client, but when this option is ordered from the judge it's strongly advised that the individual try everything they can to make the most of this chance.
