It has been determined that those who are treated for drug abuse issues as opposed to other penalties being enforced upon them have greater chances of remaining out of the court system than those people who are fined, ordered to time in jail, etc. In alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers DUI/DWI clients can determine why they abuse drugs and alcohol, to enable them to address these problems in order to find resolution for the actual conditions and circumstances in their lives which set off their drug abuse. This could truly save lives, not just the lives of the DUI/DWI clients, but those who may be affected by their substance abuse whenever they drive while drunk or high down the road. It is a real second opportunity for DUI/DWI clients.
