DUI/DWI clients who're involved in drug and alcohol treatment facilities are generally there on their own accord, but usually in drug and alcohol treatment as part of a mandatory order from the court. DUI/DWI clients, specifically initial offenders might be required to go to rehab either in place of other consequences or as part of their sentence.
