Partial day rehab centers treat substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders that could be co-occurring. In the partial day rehab center the individual participates in various rehab services in the daytime then returns home at nighttime, between five to seven days a week. During a partial day rehab center, individuals experience group, individual and in many cases family counseling and therapy for substance abuse issues whilst addressing whatever mental health disorder is ailing them. You should handle both issues simultaneously when there is any any expectation for individuals maintaining any type of long-term sobriety or being able to regain a quality lifestyle. This may take several weeks or months simply because it's a part-time rehab option, but it'll be worthwhile to the rehabilitation client and their families eventually when they can proceed with a fresh start.
