DUI/DWI clients who are taking part in drug and alcohol rehab programs are generally there by their own choice, but more often than not in alcohol and drug rehabilitation due to a mandated order from the court. DUI/DWI clients, specifically initial offenders could possibly be ordered to rehab either in place of other consequences or as part of their sentence.
