Outpatient treatment gives rehab clients the opportunity to maintain specific responsibilities and aspects of their way of life while taking part in alcohol and drug treatment services. Outpatient treatment is a moderate amount of rehab, and should not be mistaken for the amount of rehabilitation provided in an inpatient or residential rehabilitation setting which is significantly more intensive.
